Logistics & Technical Rider

To ensure a smooth and predictable setup for every event, here are our standard logistical and technical requirements. We pride ourselves on being low-maintenance and are happy to adapt to unique venue constraints with advance notice.

  • Space Requirement A level area of approximately 5' deep x 6' wide provides comfortable space for our professional digital piano setup.
  • Power Requirement Access to one standard, grounded 120V electrical outlet within 25 feet of the performance area is required. We provide our own professional-grade, safely-taped extension cords.
  • Sound Requirement (Venue/Client Provided) The venue or client must provide one (1) professional powered speaker with a standard XLR or 1/4" input, placed near the performance area. We will provide all necessary cables to connect our instrument.
  • Arrival & Setup Time We typically arrive 60-90 minutes before prelude music begins for a relaxed, thorough setup and sound check. Teardown is efficient and typically completed within 30 minutes post-performance.
  • Outdoor Event Protocol For the safety of the equipment and quality of the performance, adequate cover from direct sun, wind, and precipitation is essential. A solid, level, and dry surface is also required.

Frequently Asked Questions from Event Partners

  • How far in advance should my client book your services?

For weddings, booking 8-12 months in advance is highly recommended, especially for popular Saturday dates. For corporate or private events, 2-4 months is often sufficient, but earlier is always better to guarantee availability.

  • Can you perform on a piano provided by the venue?

Absolutely! We are delighted to perform on a venue's well-maintained acoustic piano. We simply ask for confirmation that it has been tuned within the last 3-4 months to ensure the best possible sound for the client.

  • What is your standard performance attire?

Our standard attire is a professional, dark suit and tie. For black-tie events, a tuxedo is standard. We always aim to dress in a manner that complements the formality of the occasion.

  • Do you offer a commission for referrals?

We prefer to build partnerships based on mutual trust and exceptional service. While we do not offer a standard commission, we are always eager to reciprocate by referring our clients to trusted partners.
